Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled experienced Tow Truck Driver heavy duty to join our team Driving . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and mechanical knowledge, coupled with excellent customer service skills. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and assisting customers in need of roadside assistance. Your ability to operate towing equipment and provide exceptional service will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
Operate tow trucks and other vehicles safely and efficiently to transport disabled or improperly parked vehicles.
Respond promptly to calls for roadside assistance, including breakdowns, accidents, and vehicle recovery.
Assess vehicle conditions and determine the best method for towing or recovery.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding the towing process and any necessary actions.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on towing equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including mileage, time spent on calls, and any additional notes relevant to the job.
Collaborate with dispatchers to prioritize calls and manage workload effectively.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on duty.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver's license (Class 3 or 1 class 5 is required.
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $220.00-$300.00 per day
