Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing infrastructure across various commercial projects. A valid driver’s licence and the ability to undertake heavy lifting are essential. The successful applicant will contribute to delivering high-quality service, ensuring safety standards are met, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial settings, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installations or repairs.
Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems and implement effective solutions.
Measure and cut materials accurately using basic math skills for precise fitting.
Assist with assembly of plumbing components and related structures as required.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
Maintain a clean work environment and document completed tasks for client records.
Experience
Proven experience as a plumber in a commercial or industrial setting is essential.
Proficiency in welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications is preferred.
Demonstrable ability with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry skills.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the capacity to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Experience with heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively in physically demanding environments.
Valid driving licence for commercial driving duties is desirable but not mandatory for all roles.
