We invite you to join our team of skilled security researchers and software engineers in evolving a cutting-edge IoT security solution from the lab to a diverse clientele. This role presents an excellent opportunity to impact end users directly, develop innovative features, and collaborate with technical partners to integrate new datasets and technologies. The position is available in Columbia, Maryland or Chantilly, Virginia.
Minimum Requirements
• U.S. Citizenship with TS/SCI and Counter-Intelligence Polygraph clearance
• A minimum of four years of experience in a Python Development role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting
• Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (Nomad, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience delivering solutions on AWS
• Familiarity with system monitoring, introspection, and visualization tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack)
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile Scrum development team
• Database development/administration experience with PostgreSQL or a similar system
• Experience supporting full-stack solutions, including RESTful APIs and Angular-based web UI
• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTPS, TLS)
• Experience with user management and onboarding
• Understanding of the Twelve-Factor App methodology
• Linux system administration experience
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Driven to achieve results with a proactive mindset
Specific Duties
• Troubleshoot and maintain the deployed application
• Onboard and manage new users
• Search for and evaluate new data sources and technologies to meet program demands
• Act as the primary liaison for current and prospective data sources/technical partners
• Organize technical exchange meetings and gather/catalogue data information
• Understand security restrictions and access requirements
Education Requirements
• BS/MS in a technical degree field, plus a minimum of 4 years of directly related experience
• In lieu of a degree, 10 years of directly related experience is acceptable
Technical Skills
• Expertise in Linux system administration
• Strong scripting experience (Bash, Python)
• Experience with container build tools (Docker, Buildah)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (installation, management, operation)
• Experience with Kubernetes CD tools (FluxCD, ArgoCD)
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm)
• AWS/Azure solution delivery experience
• Familiarity with system monitoring and visualization technologies (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK stack)
• Experience with GitLab CI
• Proficient in networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTPS, TLS) and diagnosing networking issues

Pay Range: Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
