Job Title: AS4OO Developer
We are seeking an experienced and skilled developer to join our team in a challenging role that involves the development of applications on the AS400 platform.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with RPG400/IV, RPG Free, CL, SQL, Embedded SQL Query & ILE, as well as recent and advanced experience with RPG (ILE/FREE) using Procedures, Service Programs and Functions.
Additionally, the candidate should have hands-on experience in Application Design & Development in BFSI/Banking domain and be familiar with change management experience and DevOps concepts and techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 6+ Years Hands-on expertise in RPG400/IV, RPG Free, CL, SQL, Embedded SQL Query & ILE
• Recent and advanced experience with RPG (ILE/FREE) using Procedures, Service Programs and Functions
• Hands-on experience in Application Design & Development in BFSI/Banking domain is desirable
• Experience exposing and consuming web services, JSON, REST APIs is desirable
• Change management experience and familiarity with a change management tool
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and techniques
• Strong understanding and working experience with CI/CD and available tools i.e., usage of Jenkins, Sonar, RDI
• Working experience in an agile environment
• Ability to quickly acquire new skills and tools
• Ability to resolve critical issues in a timely manner
• Be a clear communicator, document your work, share your ideas
• Review and be reviewed by your peers
• Experience releasing to production what you developed and then supporting it
• Be an approachable and supportive team member with a collaborative attitude within a demanding, maturing Agile environment
• Influence and champion new ideas and methods
