About the Role
We are seeking a passionate C++ Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our low-latency Algorithmic Trading Platform.
This role offers the opportunity to interact with research and quantitative trading teams and work with cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating and optimizing scalable, multi-tiered applications and infrastructure.
Solving difficult technical problems in a fast-paced, energetic environment is a key aspect of this role.
Tech Stack
As a Linux shop, our core trading infrastructure is written in C++. We also utilize STL and Boost in our C++ environment.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Significant experience developing high-availability systems in C++ with tight latency constraints.
Strong computer programming skills using C++ in a Linux environment, including expertise in STL and Boost.
Knowledge in parallel computing and network programming.
A strong understanding of software development principles (OO design, TDD, etc).
The ability to code a multi-threaded UDP server/client easily.
An understanding of thread complexity and lock-free semantics.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience working in the trading industry or other ultra-low latency-sensitive businesses is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Python, network protocols (TCP, UDP), and full life-cycle software development utilizing exotic hardware/software architectures are also preferred.
