Job description
Java Lead for Core Banking Transformation
This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your technical expertise in the banking consulting team, working with next-generation Oracle Banking products built on cutting-edge technologies. Your responsibilities will include leading or participating as a Technical Consultant in Development, Implementation, or Managed Service activity streams.
• Lead or participate as Technical Lead in Migration, Testing support and coordination with other Oracle teams at client locations or offshore teams.
• Assist with analysis, design, and implementation of solutions for various business requirements.
• Develop programs according to specifications/requirements given by Oracle/Client within planned schedules.
• Use defined standards/tools/processes to achieve work that meets quality expectations of Oracle/Client.

• You possess experience in end-to-end Development and/or Implementation and/or Support activities covering areas such as design of customizations, Coding and Unit testing.
• You have expertise in software programming in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices related technologies, Spring Boot, Rest API, JavaScript, XML.
• Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (18c or 12c) is advantageous.
• You have solid understanding of Release management and Source control tools.
• You should be able to perform Issue Tracking on Application and follow-up for resolution of same with collaborators.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and technical fixing abilities. Additionally, you should have superb communication and presentation skills, ability to quickly learn new technologies, and take up new tasks and initiatives. Experience in Banking Domain and awareness of newest technologies in Banking are desirable. You will be expected to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment and be willing to travel to client locations when necessary.
