Job description
Associate Banking Accountant Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Banking Accountant to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily bank reconciliations, posting and verifying journal entries, processing and reconciling travel & expense claims, ensuring compliance with internal controls, SOX, and FCPA regulations, liaising with treasury, HR, payroll, and cash applications teams, investigating and resolving discrepancies or fraudulent activity in bank and T&E records, maintaining accurate documentation for audit and reporting purposes, and supporting month-end close activities and financial reporting.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce and 2–4 years of experience in bank reconciliation and expense processing. They should also be proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, and CostPoint, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
We prefer candidates with ERP systems experience, specifically SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics, as well as proficiency in expense platforms like Concur and Zoho Expense, and knowledge of reconciliation tools and Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
