Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced Export Logistics Coordinator for their client based in Yate. This is a full time permanent position offering a salary of £26,000 to £30,000 based on experience.
The candidate will have detailed knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations having worked in logistics for several years.
This is a fast-paced role that will ideally suit someone who thrives in a busy, task focused environment. Working closely with our customers, freight forwarders and handling agents, you will be responsible for co-ordinating shipment planning and the creation of export documents that are accurate, complete and compliant with trade regulation and destination country requirements.
Working within our sales support team you will possess the following skills and experience:
• Detailed knowledge of export administration and documentation is essential, Including experience of the new CDS system, incoterms, bills of lading, dangerous goods notes, certificates of origin, commercial invoices
• Completion of export training courses
• Experience working within logistics company.
• Proficient skills of Microsoft including word and excel.
• Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
• Driven to deliver excellent customer service, meeting deadlines for getting product to clients on time.
• Effective communicator with the ability to problem solve issues and competently liaise with carriers, handling agents and customers to find solutions that resolve exceptions and discrepancies.
• Flexible in your approach, supporting other members of the team and the demands of the department.
• Strong attention to detail skills providing accuracy and consistency.
• Personable with the energy and enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and professional manner.
In return our client offers a full-time permanent position:
• 40 hrs per week, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5pm
• Holiday entitlement is 25 days per year plus bank holidays.
• Company Pension scheme
• Private Healthcare after 1 year of service
