Position: Manager Export
Reports to : General Manager - Logistics & Export
Based at : Faridabad, Haryana
Working Days: 5 Days a Week
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Manager - Exports to oversee and optimize our export operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in export marketing processes, documentation, liaisoning with government agencies, and knowledge of export and import requirements. The role requires good communication skills to interact convincingly with export customers regarding formal export processes and documentation.
Major Responsibilities:
• l In-depth knowledge of Oracle-based Export Order Management
• l In-depth knowledge and supervision of all compliance of export pre and post-documentation with all statutory requirements of the organization
• l In-depth knowledge of all government export benefits & its realization (Drawback/RODEP/MEIS/Advance Licenses/DGFT Licenses, GST, BRC, etc.)
• l Good knowledge of EXIM processes
• l Handling of Open orders & LC documentation for export customers
• l Strong coordination for order Follow up with the Production & Planning team and timely communication to the customers for the Middle East and US PSI team, Finance & Logistics team in the USA
• l Accurate Export Commercial documentation ( Pre & Post Shipment)
• l Knowledge of Export Cash Flow-on-time submission of commercial documents in banks for negotiation with close coordination with the RRX Finance team
• l Ensure smooth integration between Customer Service, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to facilitate customer satisfaction
• l Cost-effective management of transportation (ICD to Plant & back) activities to meet customer expectation
• l Close coordination with ME export forwarders for smooth dispatch of their shipments with value proposition on the handling of Ocean export India outward (FCL/LCL & Consol) Shipments.
• l Dealing with the outside inspection agencies Motor Testing/Pre-post shipment inspection and its related certification
• l Facilitate data management for SABER registration for Middle East Customers
• l Close coordination with Freight Forwarder / Shipping lines /CHA /Customs for daily and specific shipments for the Middle East and the USA and any new territory in future
• l Management of all types of applications/reports to track freight including invoicing and payments. Support finance with monthly freight pay accuracy and accrual processes.
• l Ensure timely submission of monthly and quarterly reports to the respective affiliated Government Agencies i.e. FIEO / EEPC/ FIA
• l Hands-on experience in engagement in documentation (HBL draft creation, approval with the final release.
• l Hands-on experience in Shipping Invoice filling on Carrier site/INTRA, Following up on MBL draft, and amendments, till final issued, VGM filing on ODEX/Liners site, Following up with CO-Loaders on LCL shipments.
• l Digital MIS expertise on Export cadence
• l Close coordination with CHA for the checklist, Shipping Bill, and container load plan
• l Knowledge of Import documentation origin to end operation
• Required Education/Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
• l Graduate with professional certification or PG diploma on EXIM
• l Data analytical skills
