We are looking for an experienced Export Operator to join our fast paced and dynamic Auckland Ocean Team. If you’re passionate about delivering top notch service and keen to expand on your knowledge and understanding of the industry, this could be the move for you.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career and master all aspects of export seafreight, working closely with our domestic and international teams, and global suppliers.
We are on the hunt for someone with experience who can hit the ground running and take control of the operations from the get-go.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience in ocean freight export operations (minimum 5 years)
Thrives on exceeding customer’s expectations
Has a sharp eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
Enjoys a fast paced, fun and rewarding environment
Is a strong communicator with a passion for people and service
Is a positive team player and collaborates well
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Is calm under pressure and able to multitask and juggle priorities.
Core responsibilities would include:
Coordinating export seafreight shipments for our customers
Ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant, and on time
Communicating with customers and our global teams to keep freight moving
Working alongside carriers to find the best possible solutions for our customers
