Duties
Install vinyl, James Hardie, lux, metal siding, building components according to project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
Use hand tools such as drills, saws, levels, and measuring devices to complete tasks efficiently.
Perform caulking and sealing to ensure proper insulation and finish quality.
Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation processes.
Collaborate with team members and contractors to coordinate work sequences and meet project deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Troubleshoot installation issues on-site and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or handyman roles with a strong understanding of installation processes.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for installation tasks.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and translate plans into completed installations.
Experience with caulking, sealing, and finishing techniques to achieve professional results.
Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Prior experience reading technical drawings or blueprints is preferred. This position is integral to delivering high-quality construction projects that meet client specifications while maintaining safety standards throughout the process.
