• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• As a Software Developer you will drive cutting edge technology in a collaborative agile work environment.
• You will have the opportunity to have a profound influence on the features and functions of our Clinical Decision Support System and HCC coding platform.
• You will prototype, design and develop features of the product leveraging our rules engine, natural language processing, service oriented architecture and other open source technologies.

Desired Qualifications And Experience
• Proficiency working with PHP 7+, JavaScript and object-oriented programming
• Proficiency with MVC design patterns and at least one MVC framework (ideally Laravel)
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases. 3+ yrs of experience
• Knowledge of encryption, data privacy and security best practices
• Experience with security protocols such as SAML, OAuth
• Experience building and interacting with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with job queues and worker processes
• Experience developing performance and scalable web applications.
• Agile development experience and the use of project tracking software such as Jira.
• Familiarity with contemporary development practices (Composer, Dependency Injection, Domain Driven Design)
