RL Design Studio is a modern design house based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and exports women’s fashion garments to the UK. Focused on speed, quality, and customer service we are a fast-growing company looking for an experienced, detailed orientated Fabric Sourcing Officer that is as committed to a high level of service as we are.

The ideal applicant for this role:

Strong knowledge of fabric sourcing & costing.

Experienced in têxtile materials.

History of working with garment factories and or fabric suppliers.

Experience of quality and compliance

Excellent communication skills.

Able to speak, read and write in English, Gujarati and Hindi.

The role

Source new fabric vendors

Source and manage fabric development

Handle quality issues for sampling as well as production

- Preparing inspection schedule for delivered fabrics.

Work closely with merchandiser and production manager to ensure that fabric procurement is on schedule to the critical path.
