Senior Facade Designer
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Facade Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for various building types, working closely with our technical director and project teams.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facade design, AutoCAD, and document keeping, with a strong understanding of performance requirements for rainscreen facade systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and study project elements, including BOQ, specifications, and employer requirements.
Complete building surveys and produce concise, detailed drawings for submission to the project team.
Develop professional and accurate detail drawings in line with project specifications and timelines.
Manage the design process, ensuring all issued information meets current regulations and client quality standards.
Provide exceptional client service delivery and maintain excellent technical standards throughout projects.
Schedule materials, order supplies, and ensure budget is met while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.
Review costs and variations, and work closely with the site team to ensure quality and installation meet construction drawings.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and design software.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
A strong understanding of performance requirements for rainscreen facade systems.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
