THE OPPORTUNITY:

Tundra is excited to announce an opportunity for a Facilities Administrative Assistant based out of our Virden, MB office. The successful candidate will be eligible to participate in Tundra’s hybrid work schedule.

The Facilities Technical Assistant is responsible for providing administrative, accounting, and clerical support to the Facilities Department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Facilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Proactive participation and implementation of all company safety policies and practices

Sorting, coding, and trending all invoicing and costs related to facility and construction

Tracking costs and comparing to budget and AFE estimates

Formatting raw data for analytic analysis by the facilities technical team and presenting this data in a way for the team to make easy decisions based on the results or reference in presentations

Assisting engineering staff with creating reports from field reporting software

Working with Maintenance Administrative Assistants to track new equipment and equipment transfers in Azzier

Updating all area flowline maps with locate information from field work and reporting discrepancies or missing information to the appropriate representative

Collecting and uploading all QC files from field construction

Assisting with reporting and preparing presentations

Assisting engineering staff by preparing construction packages

Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED:

Highschool Diploma

Post-secondary education in business administration and accounting considered an asset

Training courses such as “Oil Patch 101” would be considered an asset

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel would be considered an asset

Previous exposure to oil production would be considered an asset

Competency and experience in, or the ability to learn:

Microsoft Office

Excel Level

Generwell

WHMIS

H2S Alive

Power BI
