Your Role as a Facilities Asset Officer
As the Facilities Asset Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining our building assets. Your expertise will ensure that these assets meet service levels and are fit for purpose. You will be the go-to person for technical advice, guiding internal teams and external stakeholders while responding to community inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
In this role, you will initiate and manage projects, conduct asset condition assessments, and contribute to budget planning, making a significant impact on our community’s infrastructure. Your work will directly support our Community Strategic Plan, promoting active lifestyles and a robust local economy.
Who We're Looking For

Building Diploma or equivalent qualifications in building construction or maintenance.
Unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence.
Proven experience in the building industry or facility management.
Strong knowledge of WHS policies and building-related legislation.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Experience in preparing asset maintenance schedules and engaging with community groups.

Package: $102,500 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
Hours of work: Temporary Full Time 35 hours per week (12 month contract).You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system.
