Wenona is seeking a proactive and dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our Property & Facilities team and provide day-to-day operational, functional and compliance assistance to ensure the upkeep and safety of our school's buildings, grounds, and facilities.

The Position
The Facilities Assistant plays an important role in providing practical assistance and operational and logistical support, ensuring the School is consistently a safe environment.
Key priorities for the role include:
Completing a wide variety of general services across the school including assisting with relocation, deliveries and setting up/setting down for many school functions and events.
Undertake general maintenance work including but not limited to painting, lock repairs, changing light bulbs, Test and Tag, as well as other ground maintenance duties.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with staff, students, and contractors, ensuring clear and timely communication with all stakeholders.
Regular fleet vehicle cleaning, washing and minor maintenance.
Assist with the management of external service providers for day-to-day delivery of facilities management services.
This is a permanent full-time position. This role will operate on a rotating roster, hours varying between 7am - 6pm. Our School is located near the Metro Station in North Sydney.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be experienced in maintenance and facilities support with relevant certificate or trade qualifications. You must have an enthusiastic, collaborative approach and thrive on delivering high quality and timely outcomes. This role requires the successful person to be highly organised with the ability to multitask and balance competing priorities. You will have strong interpersonal skills and eagerness to deliver excellent service to all stakeholders, whilst supporting the values of Wenona.
