Job Description
Facilities Coordinator
The Facilities Coordinator oversees all day-to-day maintenance for the Boarding, odeum, swimming and cafeteria building and oversees subcontracted maintenance personnel and gardeners operating in the specified areas; tracks and communicates the progress of all maintenance, purchasing, and work performed in the boarding, and cafeteria areas. The person is supervised by the Facilities Manager, reporting all information and progress accordingly. The person is administratively supervised by the Head of Finance / HR in terms of holidays, days of leave, sick days and other administrative issues.
Responsibilities:
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for all furniture inventory, housekeeping oversight, and gardener oversight to the boarding and cafeteria building and responsible for tracking all furniture and Capex expenditures in conjunction with the Purchase Coordinator.
The Facilities Coordinator will work with the Elementary Facilities Coordinator and the Facilities Manager to:
coordinate overlapping activities
seek support as needed
communicate progress on various projects and requests
Assess inventory needs
Consolidate capital expenditure requests
Specific Duties
HouseKeeping (Odeum, Swimming, Cafeteria, Boarding)
Gardening (Odeum, Swimming, Cafeteria, Boarding)
Furniture requirements purchasing (Odeum, Swimming, Cafeteria, Boarding)
Water issues (Odeum, Swimming, Cafeteria, Boarding)
Food vendors
Exam hall arrangements
Stock of known hardware (hinges, UPS, door handles, window treatments, compressors)
AC maintenance scheduling and oversight with annual Dec-Jan completion)
Visa / FRRO requirements for all international personnel
Cafeteria Supervision
Boarding / Cafeteria STP supervision/maintenance
Housing support / Lease agreements
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
