Colorado Extreme is growing fast. We currently operate two outdoor rinks from September through March and are in the process of building a world-class indoor rink with integrated health, wellness, and longevity facilities, expected completion in early 2028. We are also launching the first mid-valley indoor turf facility.
This is not just a seasonal rink job. This is an opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding sports and community organization. We are willing to fully train the right person.
Position Overview
The Facilities Coordinator plays a key role in daily rink operations, safety, and member experience. This is an entry-level position with hands-on training and real advancement potential as our facilities expand.
The right candidate is dependable, coachable, energized by being around kids, and willing to work outdoors in Colorado winters.
As part of the training program, you will spend two weeks in Denver for hands-on, in-person training.
Responsibilities
Rink Operations and Maintenance
Assist with ice maintenance and daily rink preparation
Support outdoor rink operations in all weather conditions
Monitor rink conditions and report safety concerns
Help maintain equipment and facility cleanliness
Member Experience and Events
Create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for all skaters and families
Assist during Learn to Skate programs, which may include 100+ kids
Help coaches and parents by supporting young skaters on and off the ice
Set up and break down for practices, games, and community events
General Support
Assist wherever needed, including turf operations as that facility launches
Support special events, tournaments, and community programming
Represent Colorado Extreme with professionalism and pride
Must-Haves
Willingness to work outdoors, including winter conditions
Genuine care for kids and youth development
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to take direction and learn quickly
Pride in maintaining a safe and high-quality environment
Availability to begin before March 29 for required training
Nice to Have
Hockey or skating background
Experience working with kids
Basic mechanical or maintenance experience
