Job description
The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all building systems. This includes the maintenance and repair of hard surfaces, basic carpentry, and metal work, as well as the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and other mechanical and electrical systems.
In this position, you will proactively respond to customer requests, manage work orders, and take on additional responsibilities as needed. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills while contributing to the daily functioning of our facilities.
Pay Range: $35.00-40.00 / HR

• Adhere to safety practices and meet company and regulatory standards.
• Operate or assist in operating heating and ventilating equipment, engines, turbines, motors, pumps, air compressors, refrigerating machines, and air conditioning units.
• Be flexible and willing to complete a variety of tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers on technical issues and maintenance recommendations.
• Work in various engineering departments based on current needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support across a wide range of systems and operational functions.
• Analyze and develop solutions for the maintenance and performance of vehicles/equipment.
• Approach problem-solving logically, defining maintenance programs and ensuring safe operation.
• Review Service Bulletins from manufacturers.
• Create solutions and implementation plans, including project justification and cost/benefit analyses.
• Organize and manage priorities for assigned tasks to meet all project deliverables.
• Coordinate with other operational groups to maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC and maintenance experience.
• Engineering skill sets applicable to various systems and operational tasks.
• Must meet requirements for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable).
• Experience in customer service.
