Lead the Renewal of Healthcare Infrastructure in Aotearoa

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Group Manager Facilities Management within the Northern Region Infrastructure Business, the Facilities Manager will oversee one of Countie Manukaus largest and most complex portfolio, Middlemore hospital. You will lead a large multidisciplinary team creating a work environment that is conducive to delivering outstanding clinical service; that is cost effective, timely and sustainable. To enable an improved quality of life for employees, patients and whanau through the functional integration and management of people, processes, assets and technology.

What You'll Bring
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Facilities Manager who can operate with influence and integrity in a complex public sector environment.
You will bring:

At least 10 years' progressive experience in building, infrastructure, planned maintenance environments; experience working at senior level including the ability to manage and provide direction to staff, contractors and other consultants.
Customer service experience, the ability to establish and maintain relationships with the key customers in Hospital & Specialist Services and to drive a customer centric focus throughout the Facilities team/s
Strategic guardianship and stewardship of major infrastructure assets via the assessment, prioritisation, funding and delivery of planned and reactive asset maintenance.
The ability to develop, lead and manage a high-performance work environment/team that leverages the diversity of all team members, is highly engaged and collaborative, that actively seeks out new ideas, and adapts quickly to changing circumstances
