What this opportunity involves:
JLL is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our Australia Post account team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver superior facilities management services across a diverse property portfolio, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional client service delivery.
As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Australia Post portfolio, managing stakeholder relationships, and delivering facilities services that exceed expectations whilst maintaining compliance and minimising risk.
An overview of the role:
Proactively manage relationships with occupiers and clients to exceed service delivery expectations
Deliver customer and property services across a portfolio of buildings
Conduct regular building inspections and complete associated reports within governance timeframes
Ensure compliance with client contract requirements, facilities procedures, and all statutory regulations
Coordinate facilities works and liaise with vendors in conjunction with the JLL Projects & Development Services team
Monitor and manage Help Desk and service outputs to achieve or exceed KPIs and service level targets
Deliver facilities-related projects in line with agreed budgets and works plans
Maintain contracts for necessary supplies and services, understanding operational and technical site requirements
Ensure compliance with fire, health, and safety standards to maintain a safe environment
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the efficient running of the portfolio
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
3-7 years of proven experience in corporate real estate or facilities management
Tertiary qualifications in Property, Facilities, or Trade-related fields desirable (demonstrable experience will be well regarded)
Strong aptitude for interpreting and analysing numerical data with excellent attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements, critical facilities, and vendor management
Understanding of technical property aspects (CRAC, chillers, fire protection, mechanical & electrical systems, BMS) advantageous
Experience in front and back office processes with strong administration skills
Excellent customer service focus with strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated experience with client reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, and managing activities using various systems
Current and valid Driver's Licence (travel to sites required)
Availability for 24-hour call out/contact as facilities management involves reactive and routine maintenance
