Benefits
Compensation range: $16-18/hr
Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location
Responsibilities
The Facilities Technician performs a variety of maintenance duties in support of laboratory and facility operations
Assists in other departments as needed
Performs standard preventative maintenance procedures
Monitors the need for service or repair of laboratory HVAC, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment
Troubleshoots and repairs various laboratory equipment
Provides materials list to supervisor to maintain a stock of repair parts in-house
Stocks all copy machines with paper on a weekly basis
Completes weekly walk-thru of building for fluorescent bulb replacement
Serves as emergency call backup if Facilities Manager is not onsite
Assists in the collection of Non Hazardous and Hazardous lab waste from the facility for proper disposal
Assist in the Shipping/Receiving of supplies including storage of supplies in a well-defined and organized manner
Follows proper safety practices as required in the Corporate Safety Manual and assists in the inspections of facility safety equipment
All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management team
Full-time position Monday - Friday day shift, with overtime as needed

Job Description

The Facilities Technician performs a variety of maintenance duties in support of laboratory and facility operations. Assists in other departments as needed.
