Job Description
The Facilities Technician Support facilities related activities including building maintenance, operation, and repair of facility and production equipment. This position requires taking ownership of assignments directed at improving total operating efficiency, minimizing equipment downtime, and improving internal administrative processes and documentation while maintaining GMP compliance.
• Prioritize and respond to Facility work orders quickly and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as assigned with support from engineering as needed.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance rounds for assigned tasks and complete all logs and paperwork associate with tasks.
• Coordinate and oversee outside vendors as needed and ensure vendors are properly trained before executing work.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on facilities HVAC, Water Systems, Boiler, etc.
• Ordering and maintaining spare parts inventory and repair parts associated with facilities work.
