Job Description
We're looking for a Facility Management Coordinator to be the operational backbone for a core retail asset in Western Sydney. Your mission is to drive consistency and precision, ensuring every building meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and maximum operational uptime.
Working alongside the Facilities Manager, you will have ownership of being the key contact between tenants, service providers, and management.
What You'll Do
Identify and diagnose on-site issues. Assess maintenance needs, investigate root causes, and coordinate solutions with contractors.
Use facility software to schedule repairs and ensure completion of maintenance tasks.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify structural deficiencies and maintenance needs before they escalate.
Organise repair teams, manage site access, and verify all safety and compliance paperwork.
Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and contractors regarding all facility queries.
Handle daily operational spending, source competitive quotes, and manage invoice processing.
What You'll Bring
2+ years in a Facilities Coordinator or Property Management role.
Prior hands-on experience in a trade (construction, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work) is highly desirable. You understand how buildings work and can diagnose technical issues.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and contractor documentation.
Proficiency in maintenance scheduling software and a history of efficient task execution.
A valid Australian Driver's Licence and full working rights.
