Come create your career with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for Facilities Maintenance Technician II in South Gate, CA. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician II you will:Conduct plumbing tasks such as walkthroughs, changing water filters, replacing basic plumbing components, and performing basic drain cleaning with an auger.Install and repair building tiles for floors and ceilings.Construct and maintain doors, including replacing hardware such as door closures and kick stops.Perform painting, drywall, and plaster repair work.Ensure proper lighting throughout the facility.Maintain landscaping and sprinkler systems.Assemble and mount office furniture, pictures, and monitors.Conduct periodic inspections on water filters, fire safety devices, and doors.Address minor electrical device repairs.Conduct facility safety inspections, including fire extinguishers and eye wash stations.Participate in the Company 6S program as needed.Conduct inspections of concrete and asphalt paving.Maintain grounds and security features.Coordinate with third-party inspectors and contractors for facility services.This is a full time opportunity. 2nd Shift: 4PM - 12:30AM plus OT as needed The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma or general education equivalent.2 years of facility maintenance experience.2 years of industrial facility maintenance, mechanical a plus.Familiarity with CMMS work order systems.Pay Rate: $23-35 per hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
