Job Summary:
The Factory Administrator will oversee and manage the administrative functions of the furniture factory, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow. This role involves handling administrative tasks, maintaining records, coordinating between departments, and supporting factory operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administrative Support:
• Provide administrative support to the Factory Manager and other senior staff.
• Manage daily office tasks, including scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and organizing documents.
• Prepare reports, memos, and presentations as needed.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate records of factory operations, including production schedules, inventory levels, and employee attendance.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all factory-related paperwork.
• Assist in managing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Coordination and Communication:
• Act as a liaison between different departments within the factory.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Facilitate effective communication between factory staff and management.
• Human Resources Support:
• Assist with recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and onboarding new employees.
• Maintain employee records and handle HR-related documentation.
• Support in managing employee leave, attendance, and other HR tasks.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory audits.
• Health and Safety Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and factory policies.
• Assist in organizing safety training and maintaining safety records.
• Report and address any health and safety concerns or incidents.
• Facilities Management:
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the factory facilities.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any facility-related issues.
• Manage factory equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Financial Administration:
• Assist with budgeting and financial reporting related to factory operations.
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
• Quality Control:
• Support quality control efforts by maintaining records of production quality and issues.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring quality control procedures.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in administration or factory management are a plus.
• Experience:
• Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or factory setting.
• Experience in handling office management, record keeping, and employee coordination.
• Familiarity with factory operations and inventory management is advantageous.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, databases).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹64,315.17 per month
