Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Factory Technician at Lining Home Textile located in Dammam. The Factory Technician will be responsible for performing daily production tasks, maintaining machinery, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring quality control in the manufacturing process.
Education:
Mechanic OR fitter from I.T.I ( Industrial Training Institute) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 4 to 5 Years in the polyester padding industry OR spinning and weaving industry.
Responsibilities
Thorough knowledge and experience in Carding machine maintenance ( Roller and Clearer OR Woolen OR Flat cards).
Carding machine gauge settings.
Knowledge of wire clothing specs and applications.
Able to handle the card wire clothing individually.
General mechanical jobs like maintaining gearboxes, pumps, blowers, compressors, etc.
Welding, gas cutting, and some fabrication skills.
Machine Operation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting skills
Experience in quality control processes
Knowledge of textile production techniques
Physical dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
Technical certification in related field,
