Student and Staff Support: Assisting with a range of learner-related administration (e.g., educational visits, references) and supporting staff with probationary and appraisal reviews, as well as absence and holiday coordination.
Policy and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with College policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, and meeting audit requirements.
Customer Service Excellence: Delivering professional and responsive customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:

You'll need:

Qualifications: Educated to Level 2 in a relevant subject, with IT qualifications (ECDL, CLAIT, or equivalent working knowledge), and a minimum of Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English Language and Maths Grade C/4 or above).
Experience:
Extensive administrative/clerical experience, including accurate minute-taking.
Experience in providing proactive, customer-facing service.
A strong background in working successfully and influentially as part of a team.
Experience working with teenagers or young adults.
Proven ability to handle confidential information.
Skills & Knowledge:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong planning, organisation, and administrative abilities with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Suite).
The ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working within a Further Education (FE) environment and using student information databases (e.g., ProSolution, ProMonitor) would be a distinct advantage!

We offer:

30 days annual leave, plus Christmas close down. (Pro rata for part time staff)
A supportive and collaborative working environment

Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
On-site benefits and facilities, including a gym, free on-site parking and on-site nursery (Peterborough campus only)
