Fall Harvest - Potato Storage Labourer

Cavendish Farms is currently hiring Temporary Fall Potato Quality Checkers for our fall harvest season. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team in a hands-on, fast-paced outdoor work environment.

Hourly Wage : $21.06/hr

Schedule : 7 days a week, 10–14 hours per day

Start Date : September 2025

Duration: 4–6 weeks (with possibility of extension)

Work Environment: Outdoor work

Visually inspect potato batches for defects or irregularities

Conduct tactile assessments to check firmness and freshness

Verify size consistency across samples

Ensure potatoes meet standards for uniform color and are free from blemishes

Maintain accurate records of inspections and report any quality issues promptly

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods

Attention to detail and strong observational skills

Willingness to work long hours, including weekends

Previous experience in a similar role or agricultural setting is an asset but not required
