Meents Law, P.C. is pleased to announce the opening of our Frankfort office and is actively seeking a full-time Family Law Attorney.

Position Overview:
The Attorney will be responsible for the comprehensive management of family law cases, encompassing:
Divorce, legal separation, and parentage proceedings
Allocation of parental responsibilities, spousal maintenance, and child support
Orders of protection and other related domestic relations disputes
Core responsibilities include:
Court representation at appearances and hearings
Drafting and presenting legal motions
Conducting thorough legal research and sophisticated legal writing
Facilitating settlement negotiations
Maintaining proactive and professional client communication
Candidate Requirements:
Juris Doctor degree and active license in good standing with the Illinois Bar
Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication proficiencies
Demonstrated strong advocacy skills, unwavering professionalism, and a deep dedication to family law
Comfortable with various technologies and software.
Remuneration & Benefits Package:
The base compensation for this position is anticipated to be within the range of $72,000 to $84,000 annually. Earning potential includes commission determined by case time, and supplementary compensation for attorneys who originate or lead a case. Actual compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, educational background, and demonstrated skills.
