Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, and alimony
Juris Doctor (JD) degree
A minimum of 3 years of experience in family law is required
Must be licensed to practice law in Arizona
Proven background of compassionate and strong advocacy
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to handle high-stress situations and manage sensitive issues tactfully
Strong research and report writing abilities
Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and organization
High ethical standards and professional integrity

Responsibilities
Represent clients in court proceedings or in front of government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue for the legal rights of those we serve
Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, affidavits, appeals, and contracts
Advise clients on their legal rights in family law matters, ensuring they understand the potential legal implications of various decisions
Conduct research and analysis of legal problems, interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses
Gather evidence to formulate defense or initiate legal actions, by interviewing clients and witnesses and handling discovery processes
Negotiate settlements in family law disputes, aiming to resolve cases as amicably and efficiently as possible
Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases
