Family Law Paralegal
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised paralegal to join our specialist Family Law practice in Double Bay. The role is permanent part-time, three days a week, particularly Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This position is ideal for someone keen to be exposed to a wide range of Family Law matters and would suit a law student looking to gain Family Law experience and PLT training, or an experienced legal secretary looking for part-time work, in which case additional days would be available, including possibly on a full time basis.
You will be responsible for managing the workload of one of the senior Family Law Specialists in our mid-size firm.
Your duties will include:
Communicating with clients, lawyers, barristers and other administrative staff.
Document preparation.
Working with the forms and processes of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Transcribing legal dictation.
File management.
Monthly invoicing.
The work day is from +.00am – 5.00pm, to include at least Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and law students will only be considered if they have at least two years remaining study and are available to work full days.
This is not a role amenable to remote working.
