Responsibilities
Drafting and preparing motions, pleadings, judgments, statements, and other legal documents and correspondence
Acting as a liaison between clients and attorneys, including conducting client interviews as needed
Assisting in trial preparation, including organizing trial notebooks and supporting trial activities (as required, in-person)
Preparing and reviewing discovery packages, such as disclosure statements, responses to interrogatories, and production requests
Managing detailed calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating external appointments
Serving and distributing pleadings, discovery documents, and other legal filings
Planning and scheduling appointments and events
Answering incoming phone calls and directing as necessary
Implementing and maintaining organized filing systems for case and office documents
Performing various administrative tasks and general office support as needed
Filing court documents, including e-filing in state and federal courts (including Family Court)
Tracking and managing court dates, deadlines, and other critical timeframes
Reviewing financial records, including bank statements, as required for case preparation
Maintaining a high level of organization and managing a large case load effectively
Opening new client matters, performing conflict checks, and processing electronic approvals as required
Providing excellent communication and maintaining a professional presentation at all times
Handling additional ad hoc projects and tasks as needed

We are looking for a talented, hard working, experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience with the following responsibilities and have the following attributes.
