Capital Family Office, a division of CIA, supports the investment objectives and client service needs of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. Our goal is to simplify their complex wealth management needs by designing modern, personalized portfolios that integrate diversified private-led investments and unify the governance of their assets.
Family Office Associate
The Family Office Associate is a vital client-facing role within Capital Family Office (CFO). The Family Office Associate will support (and often spearhead) the investment objectives and service needs of CFO's high net worth client base. They will work in partnership with the Family Office Advisor to provide high-touch investment advisory services to our clients through investment plan development, scenario-based financial analyses, preparation of client materials, and direct client and prospect meetings. The ideal person in this role is entrepreneurial, analytically-minded, organized, has a genuine interest in portfolio theory and investing, but above all else is uncompromising on providing industry-leading service to clients.
Core Responsibilities:
• Support the management of client relationships by setting the pace for all communications and interactions
• Create high quality investment plans and presentations to support the Advisor’s recommendations
• Manage the business development pipeline and execute thoughtful prospect follow up communication plans
• Become the go-to expert user in all CFO systems including Black Diamond, eMoney, Schwab and Fidelity, and Salesforce
• Collaborate with our private investment solutions partner to deliver integrated alternative investment opportunities to clients
• Contribute to the overall growth of the organization by enhancing existing processes, ensuring key initiatives are advancing, and holding all Team Members accountable to our agreed-upon service standards
Skills & Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in Finance, preferably Investment Banking
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Strong wealth management acumen including knowledge around portfolio construction, goals-based financial planning, risk management, estate, etc.
• Can confidently manage the dynamic profiles of CFO client families and seamlessly adapt to unique and evolving client situations
• Experience working in eMoney, preferred
• Skilled at simplifying complex concepts
• Operates with a high degree of excellence across all tasks
• Takes initiative and anticipates client needs
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
