Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees all aspects of fare products and pass program to meet pass sales and product development goals.
Performs data analysis of current fare program and regularly monitors performance.
Performs revenue impact analysis in relations to transit pass products and promotions.
Provides pass sales forecast data for current and future fare products.
Partners with marketing team in pass program administration and associated processes.
Responsible for reconciling DARTs systems. Researches, identifies, explains and reports reconciliation variances to minimize fraud risk.
Ensure accurate fraud detection methods are in place and updated with industry standards.
Engages with community engagement team in promoting existing fare product.
Reviews customer comments report monthly. Investigates and resolves field problems and customer concerns. Issues customer refunds.
Develops and maintains fare related standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and ensures compliance to DART’s fare policy through implementation of policy elements.
Verifies compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Continuously reviews and recommends improvements to business and organizational processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer payment experience.
Assists with implementation of technology initiatives that impact pass programs.
Creates, oversees, maintains, monitors, develops, and supports special projects, programs, and reports.
Gathers and analyzes data for business proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
Conducts research on a variety of topics.
Provides support to senior staff in complex projects as directed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Business Administration, Statistical Analysis, or related field.
Four (4) years professional experience including program administration, data analysis, financial modeling and forecasting, and product pricing, with one year in public transit fare systems preferred.
Pass a physical (medical) examination that includes a drug screen in order to operate DART non-revenue vehicles.
Pass criminal background check and credit check.
Proficient in personal computer (PC) software applications such as Windows, Microsoft Office applications of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, or other related software applications.
Ability to use various back-office systems, reporting tools and investigative methods to resolve customer issues, refunds and disputes are responded to in a timely manner
High level of written and oral communication, ability to analyze and find solutions to complex interpersonal, professional, technical, and administrative problems.
Knowledge and skilled working with statistics and detailed technical information, including strategic planning, market research, and business process improvement.
Ability to demonstrate a fiduciary responsibility to the section, division, department, and DART in handling confidential information and assets.
Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles. Ability to make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
Experience facilitating meetings and presenting complex information in a professional setting.
Ability to use time effectively and efficiently, concentrate efforts on priorities, and attend to a broad range of activities.
Ability to learn new skills, technical details, and industry-specific information quickly.
Working Conditions:
Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.
