Job Description
The role
A Farm Attendant in the Works Crew team will assist in the installation and maintenance of all necessary fish pen related infrastructure and the day-to-day husbandry of salmon. You will:
Assist with net, pen and mooring set-up, maintenance, and equipment installation.
Assist with smolt intake, grading, and the preparation of fish for harvest.
Monitor and report all predator activity and maintain the health and safety of stock.
Ensure marine sites and shore base are kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
About you
You have effective time management and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
You have experience working safely in a dynamic environment, identifying risks, and taking appropriate action.
You are an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships within a team.
You have a keen eye for detail and a proactive focus on continually looking to improve processes.
