This role will be part of compliance team of Agrostar Farm Solution team and will be primarily responsible for ensuring compliance at all our FC locations for both the entities and also offline stores in the state. This person will also support state field team for all technical matters including complaint handling, and attending farmer meetings for PL products.
The key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure regulatory compliance for Seeds, Pesticides & fertilizers as per respective acts (Seeds act, Seed Rules, Seed Control order and Pesticide management act, Fertilizer Control Order)
• Ability to review documents including principle certificates/ O form, sales permissions and various licenses in the state and take proactive actions for their renewals & endorsement for smooth business.
• Compile & submit technical dossier/PL applications for seeking regulatory permissions (sales license/ Permission etc.) from different states and keep proper record
• Track validity of all licenses and permissions with legal team and take timely action for renewals
• Help quality assurance team in collecting samples for in-house testing/ credible Govt. or accredited STL (Seed testing lab) for various tests including Physical Purity, Moisture, Genetic purity, Germination, Vigour etc.
• Ensure quality assurance of CP/CN products & verification of COA received from various vendors, random sampling of CP/CN for PL products & highlight discrepancy in quality
• Technical support to field sales team for handling farmer queries and help in root cause analysis and timely effective resolutions
As an ideal candidate, you will need:
• A Postgraduate (MSc) in agriculture (Entomology, Pathology, Agronomy, Seed technology) with 2-3 years of technical experience. The candidates having sound knowledge of Seed, Pesticide & fertilizer legislation will be preferred.
• Excellent communication and networking skills to build relations with external and internal stakeholders especially, Govt. officials & scientists in state agricultural universities and ICAR institutes in the state.
• A team player with demonstrated skills about working in a team environment and result oriented attitude.
• Willing to work in field and conduct field demonstrations and establish 1-2 Agrostar Technology Farm in the state for showcasing our products and technologies
