Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Fashion Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about fashion and is looking to gain hands-on experience in the industry. As an Apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced designers and learn the ins and outs of the fashion design process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting designers in all aspects of the design process, including research, sketching, draping, and pattern making
• Collaborating with the design team to bring new ideas to life
• Assisting in the preparation of presentations and fashion shows
• Keeping up with the latest trends in fashion and providing input to the design team
• Learning about fabrics, textiles, and production techniques
• Participating in fittings and working with models to ensure garments fit properly
Qualifications:
• Strong interest in fashion design and a desire to learn and grow in the industry
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent, associate or bachelor’s degree in fashion design or related field is a plus
