We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Fashion Assistant to join our team and assist the founder, Saachi Bahl. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the fashion industry, sustainability and possesses a keen eye for style, exceptional organisational/ coordination skills, and a flair for social media management.
Responsibilities
As a Fashion Assistant at Saahra, you will play a crucial role and multi-dimensional role in supporting our merchandising efforts, coordinating various tasks with designers, vendors and clients, and managing our social media presence regularly. You will work closely with our founder, Saachi Bahl, to ensure the smooth execution of all company activities.
• Assist in the planning and execution of visual merchandising displays in our online platforms and events
• Collaborate with the e-commerce team to maintain inventory levels, track product sales, and analyze trends to optimize stock.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fashion merchandise.
• Support in creating and updating product catalogs, including product descriptions, pricing, and images.
• Assist with seasonal product launches and promotions.
• Work closely with the fashion team to schedule and coordinate fittings, photo shoots, and events.
• Assist in managing the fashion department's calendar, including appointments, meetings, and deadlines.
• Act as a liaison between the fashion department and other company departments to facilitate communication and project coordination.
• Manage and curate content for our fashion brand's social media accounts, including Instagram and Facebook
• Create engaging and visually appealing posts, stories, and captions that align with our brand's image and message.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our online community.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns and promotions.
• Track social media analytics and provide insights to improve content strategy and engagement.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong passion for fashion and a good understanding of current fashion trends.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms for business purposes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and highly creative.
• Previous experience in fashion merchandising, coordination, or social media management is a plus
