About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field, with 2-3 years of work experience. A strong understanding of fabric types, sourcing processes, and garment construction is essential.
• Responsibilities:
• Design Development:
• Conceptualize and create innovative designs for new collections.
• Develop detailed sketches, mood boards, and illustrations using design software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Create product specification sheets, including technical packs (tech packs) with precise measurements and details.
• Sampling & Production:
• Oversee the development of samples and ensure timely follow-ups with the sampling team.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are executed with precision and quality.
• Fabric & Material Sourcing:
• Research and source sustainable, high-quality fabrics and trims aligned with our vision of eco-friendly and handloom-focused fashion.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
• Seasonal Collection Process:
• Participate in the end-to-end creation of seasonal collections, from brainstorming themes to final execution.
• Assist in creating compelling presentations for internal and external reviews.
• Styling & Photoshoots:
• Work with the creative team to plan and execute styling for photoshoots, ensuring cohesive representation of our aesthetic.
