Key responsibilities:
1. Research global fashion trends and translate them into fresh, wearable designs for Kasaa Hues.
2. Conceptualize and develop seasonal collections, including sketches, mood boards, and color palettes.
3. Collaborate with artisans and production teams to bring designs to life, ensuring high-quality execution of prints and silhouettes.
4. Experiment with different hand block printing techniques and fabrics to create unique patterns.
5. Oversee sampling and final production to ensure accuracy in fit, design, and quality.
6. Work closely with marketing and merchandising teams to align designs with brand positioning and customer preferences.
7. Ensure sustainability principles are embedded in the design process.
8. Stay updated with industry developments and identify new opportunities for design innovation.
