We are a women western wear brand seeking a skilled freelance fashion designer to join our team on an as-needed basis. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish clothing designs that reflect our brand's unique style and flair.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fashion design, with experience in creating original and creative designs for women's western wear. You will stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, fabrics, and textiles to ensure our designs are current and relevant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop original and creative designs for women's western wear, including sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, fabrics, and textiles to ensure designs are current and relevant.
• Evaluate and select fabrics, textures, and materials used in women's Western wear.
• Work closely with our design team, production team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless design execution.
• Adapt designs to fit various production requirements, such as fabric constraints or manufacturing capabilities.
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or related field.
• Proven experience in fashion design, preferably in women's Western wear or similar genre.
• Strong sketching, drawing, and illustration skills, as well as proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with our team.
