Job Overview
We are seeking a Fashion Designer for a full-time, mid-level position at our headquarters in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience and a solid foundation in designing women's ethnic wear. Qualifications and Skills
In-depth knowledge as a fashion designer or merchandiser specializing in Ladies Ethnic Wear such as ethnic dresses, suits, kurtis, lehengas, and gowns (Mandatory skill).
Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Mandatory skill).
Expertise in design applications with a strong command of Photoshop and a basic understanding of Corel Draw (Mandatory skill).
Educational background from Pearl Academy or NIFT is required (Mandatory skill).
Experience in handling womens wear designs with a focus on ethnic apparel is essential.
Proficiency in managing dyeing processes, enhancing fabric appeal with vibrant colors.
Skilled in block printing techniques, adding intricate patterns to fabric designs.
Competency in both machine and hand embroidery, showcasing detailed artistry in designs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop creative and innovative designs in womens ethnic fashion, aligning with current trends.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure the accuracy and quality of the final product.
Conduct market research to understand the latest fashion trends and consumer preferences.
Translate conceptual ideas into tangible designs using design software and sketching.
Oversee the production process, ensuring design integrity and manufacturing quality.
Coordinate with suppliers for fabric selection and procurement to ensure timely availability.
Participate in fashion shows and exhibitions to highlight the companys latest collections.
Provide feedback on prototypes and suggest modifications to enhance design effectiveness.
