“Moh by Rohit Patel” is looking for a skilled Freelance Fashion Designer to design and manage the production of our autumn/winter collection for contemporary Indian womenswear. This is a project-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design a cohesive autumn/winter collection.
• Create sketches, tech packs, and oversee the entire production.
• Source fabrics, trims, and manage sampling.
• Ensure high-quality execution from concept to final garment.
Requirements:
• Experience in Indian womenswear design.

Role Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Apparel Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for fashion design, exceptional creativity, and the ability to translate trends into compelling and marketable apparel collections. As an Apparel Designer at Damn Design private limited, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating designs that align with our brand's vision and values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop clothing collections aligned with brand aesthetic and target market.
• Hands on experience with Clo 3D software
• Conduct market research and trend analysis.
• Create sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with pattern makers, sample makers, and production teams.
• Select fabrics, trims, and materials based on quality, cost, and availability.
• Oversee the design process, meeting deadlines.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw.
• Participate in fittings and make garment adjustments.
• Provide clear instructions for production teams.
• Ensure adherence to design standards and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (merchandising, marketing, etc.).
Requirements:
• Experience of minimum 4 to 6 years in apparel designing.
• Sportswear industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
