Job Title:
Fashion Garment Maker at Alkye
At Alkye, you will be at the forefront of the digital and technology industry, contributing to creating innovative solutions that drive business success. As a Fashion Garment Maker, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic team, particularly focusing on designing and constructing garments for our bespoke international fashion brand.
This full-time position is based in our Mohali office and offers you the opportunity to work on one of our in-house brands, allowing you to learn, grow your skills, and make a meaningful impact with us.
Responsibilities:
• Translate CAD designs into patterns.
• Conduct trend analysis.
• Select fabrics and materials.
• Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the production process.
You will have your own pattern making & garment construction room within our head office in India, working closely with the Brand CEO, who travels between our Mohali, Sydney, and London offices.
Qualifications:
• Keen eye for detail and passion for fashion.
• Strong understanding of garment construction.
• Proficiency in Textile CAD software.
• Knowledge of garment production processes and draping skills.
• Excellent sketching and illustration skills.
• Ability to create flat sketches and tech packs.
• Creative flair with a strong sense of style.
