Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and creative Fresher Fashion Designer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career designer to gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry. You will work closely with senior designers and contribute to the development of new collections, from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing and developing clothing and accessories based on seasonal trends
Create mood boards, sketches, and design concepts under the guidance of senior designers
Conduct market and trend research to support design ideas
Prepare and update tech packs, fabric swatches, and sample boards
Collaborate with the product development and production teams
Assist during fittings, photoshoots, and fashion events
Support day-to-day studio tasks and maintain design archives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field
Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and design skills (student projects welcome)
Basic knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fashion trends
Familiarity with design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (but not required):
Internship or academic project experience in fashion design
Understanding of pattern making and garment fitting
