Pridewear is a ready-to-wear B2C womenswear label. We are searching for a designer to join our team and lead our business expansion.
PRIDEWEAR, is an India based high-quality, affordable womenswear start-up e-commerce brand. Producing at an in-house manufacturing facility, PRIDEWEAR creates clothes built to withstand the harsh tests of today's society with its trendy and practical designs. With a wide collection ranging from everyday essentials to trendy formal outfits, every woman is sure to find something they desire. We are currently on the hunt for our main fashion designer who can bring the visions of our founder to life.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer at Pridewear in Ghaziabad . The Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating new designs and overseeing the production of designs. The Fashion Designer will work with the design team to develop new ideas, create tech packs and conduct market research. The Fashion Designer will also be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules and ensuring that deadlines are met.
Job purpose: Planning and designing new ready-to-wear collections as well as creating technical sketches for production.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Fashion Design or a related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fashion design and/or production
• Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to create designs that are both fashionable and practical
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and CorelDRAW
• Knowledge of Indian traditional crafts such as Shibori, Block Printing, natural dyes etc.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Location: We are based in NCR area of Ghaziabad, U.P. with close proximity to both Noida and Delhi.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fashion Design or related fields
Work Experience: 2+ years design experience in the industry (including any internships) is a plus
