Location: Shalimar Bagh, Delhi
Stipend: Upto 7k
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Design Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in various aspects of fashion design, from concept development to final production. You will work closely with our experienced designers to contribute to the design and development of our upcoming collections.
Responsibilities:
Design Assistance:
Assist in the creation of sketches, mood boards, and color palettes.
Research and analyze current fashion trends and industry developments.
Develop original design concepts and sketches.
Pattern Making:
Learn and assist in the creation of patterns using various techniques.
Draft and modify patterns to fit specific body types and design requirements.
Sample Making:
Assist in the construction of sample garments, paying attention to detail and quality.
Fit and adjust garments to ensure proper fit and style.
Material Sourcing:
Research and source fabrics, trims, and other materials.
Evaluate the quality and cost-effectiveness of materials.
Production Support:
Assist in the production process, including quality control and technical specifications.
Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to design standards.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in fashion design or a related field.
Strong understanding of fashion design principles and techniques.
Excellent drawing and sketching skills.
Proficiency in pattern making and garment construction.
Knowledge of fabric types, color theory, and textile knowledge.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for fashion.
