Our team of designers and business leaders come from leading fashion and business institutes ranging from NIFT, Harvard, Raffles, and Parsons. The Position- Fashion Designer
As a very critical member of the CHASE LABS design team, you will be responsible for leading new/existing fashion verticals. You will be working with the team to lead, develop and commercialize innovative, consumer relevant design solutions. This is a phenomenal opportunity for an ambitious recent graduate who is excited to learn (about the way brands are going to be built in the future) and work their way up! If you are absolutely brilliant, we might even discuss the possibility of you being the key designer for one of our new, fast developing brands.
Responsibilities: -
• Develop samples and requirement outlines from verbal or written instructions concerning desired results.
• Identify the right set of fabric suppliers, vendors, manufacturing partners and even setup a specific sampling unit.
• Supervise and direct work activities of design technicians.
• Supervise building of design prototype models, testing of same, and analysis of test results.
• Supervise and/or prepare design drawings, and publishing tech sheets.
• Determine and establish specifications and standards.
• Make alterations or changes to facilitate production.
Requirements/Skills: -
• 0-3 years of related professional experience.
• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in apparel designing.
• Excellent design and conceptual skills.
• Excellent sense of present fashion trend.
• Proficient with design software.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines
